"Astral" feeding

Can someone feed from someone else's energy through a mental state as opposed to a physical (touching) state? If so, how do you do it?

Yes, keeper. touching is only needed for vampires who have a mental block that they have formed against feeding. there are vampires that can feed from people hundreds of miles away, that they have never met face to face. but a touch also can form a stronger connection between vampire and donor, enabling the vampire to feed much farther than they normally could.

So you can feed over any length? How do you do such a thing? Practice or do you have to know a lot more than the basic understanding of feeding?

I'm rather new to all this stuff...

Connecting over distance, whether to feed or other, is always going to be difficult if you do not know what you are doing.

Energy dissapates the further away from the body it gets, so obviously being closer helps.

Being able to connect with someone who is farther away then your abilites can reach is obviously going to create some problems; for one, being able to recognise one energy signature from the many thousands encountered is going to be hard enough.

If you're learning how to connect with someone many miles away, try small at first. From one side of a room to another, then maybe with a few people, and then a crowd. Learn and master each phase before you continue.

I believe to some it can come naturally. To some even after learning what is needed to do can't do it. Sometimes knowledge in this case isn't enough.

It is my own opinion that anyone alive can visit and therefore communicate on the Astral plane. I say 'communicate' loosely as, yes, you are right, to some it may not work.

With perseverance, I do believe that anything can be achieved.

I agree with that. It is true, with hard work anything can be achieved.

you musts be careful though...... there are many psions that if you fed from them without permission that would not hesitate to psionically pound you until they saw fit to stop
